Bull Elk
My son-in-law and I arrived at the Gibbons River before light to fish. We wanted to get away from the highway and began hiking away from it. After 10 or 15 minutes, it began to get light and we noticed a heard of elk was coming our way. Fishing with lures requires walking upstream. For the next hour we fished with a heard of bugling elk and nailed a number of huge German Brown trout. The best part was to share the experience with my son-in-law. This elk was not one of the heard, the photograph was taken later.
