The roof on the right is all that remains of the Russell house. It had two bedrooms, a combo kitchen/living room and a screened in porch that ran around part of the house. When the girls were older they slept in the upper loft that was accessed from an exterior stairs. The building on the left was the garage, barn, feed room and shop. They carved their initials in the trees behind the house, something for me to find and photograph.
