Linda’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Russell, began grazing cattle in Perazzo Meadows over 80 years ago. She remembers her father telling stories of herding cattle with his father on horseback before they hauled them in on trucks. Her parents, Daniel and Geraldine Russell, leased the ranch from Charlie Anderson. Dan and Gerry spent every summer for over half a century on the ranch with their cattle while raising their (3) daughters and son. Although the ranch home is a memory, Tanya Russell continues her great grandparent’s dreams of grazing cattle in Perazzo.
